Cool Ran my new C6 to a possible 'stock automatic Corvette' world record?

Went to Atco yesterday to baseline my bone stock C6 A6 and came away with what might very well be THE quickest/fastest time ever recorded for a pure bone stock automatic transmissioned Corvette since 1971 (or maybe ever? ): 12.48@112.11 on a 1.88 sixty foot.
I really love this car.

Nope, no changes at all, OEM tires and bone stock down to the paper filters.

I will possibly try some programming/TM removal next to see if I can chop away at some of that ET, gotta see if Cartek Julio has all of the HP Tuner 2006 C6 updates yet.

Very close, I think Evan Smith's 12.43 still stands though there was rumor that someone had gotten one into the high 12.3s but that might not be legit. Those are quite rare 'one off' type numbers though I think, most of the properly driven stock Cobras are still in the 12.6 - 12.8 range...I like the '03s/'04s.

Damn,those C6's must have a ton of TM. My 100%stock 02 C5 ran a best of 12.2 at 112mph.

100% bone stock?

And yes I have some serious TM issues at the launch under full throttle.

No paddles, I left it in 'S' (Sport without paddle mode) and as usual the scales were not open.
Thanks all.

How quick/firm are the shift's? Haven't had a chance to drive one of those yet.
