Default Dez Racing is the Best!

Like the title says, cant thank everyone at Dez Racing, espeically Don, for everything they did with my car. The cam sounds unreal and their attention to details is top-notch. Don's tuning abilities are amazing and the suspension, brakes, etc make my camaro feel like a new car. Its night and day after my prior setup with just bolt-ons and cant thank the guys enough. Pricing was out of this world too and I have to say there isnt another shop I would ever take one of my cars to other than Dez racing. Also, it was great meeting some of the guys down there and getting to talk to them, especially Steve B. As for the results on the cam. Baseline my car put down 300 rwhp, 317 rwtq. I was hoping for 380+ rwhp and we ended up very close. SAE I put down approx. 370 rwhp/356 rwtq. I will try to get the graph up but the car makes awesome power throughout the powerband and a good amount of torque, especially since its a big cam. The biggest limiting factor though are my 98 heads, which started experiencing valve float at 5800 rpms. Don already has me sold on a set of ls6 heads and said with a nice set of stage 1 prc ls6 heads I should probably see between 400-420+ rwhp. So +70 rwhp, and +40 rwtq was def worth the swap and cant wait to get my car back to Don to see what it makes with a real set of heads haha. Thanks again Don!

The car definitely came out good.Sounds like a beast. Too bad the Cam didn't make unreal power but we expected that with the 98 heads. When we put some decent flowing heads the car is really going to wake up

Enjoy the car and take it easy on the other cars on the road

Hey Don, I was looking at the tsp website at the prc ls6's. They are 899.00 for them witghout their cnc port job or 999.00 for them with their cnc port job. Do you think the cnc'ing would be worth the 100 bucks? Also, what else would I need with them? Id have you order everything, just trying to figure out what id need. Thanks again and if my tax return comes soon you might have my car again in a month for a head swap.

Adam it was also nice to meet you, the car sounds unreal and make some nice power. I know you want to quite her down some but it sound bad *** the way it is. As for the heads, they all come cnc'd the extra 100 is if you want the combustion chamber cnc. Don and I left the shop around 7:30, watching that turbo car make pulls was sick. Just for what its worth i did get the heads with the extra cnc work.

If your near mass id be more than willing to meet up with you to let you hear it in person. Ill get a clip of it thought just in case. I actually didnt get the sway bars installed this past weekend as they didnt come in in time, but ill let you know once they get here and are in how they feel. Steve it was great meeting you too and the car sounds hellacious, haha just gonna get the magnaflow and an electric cutout so it will sound like it does now with the lm when I want it to then a little toned down when im driving long distances. Your vette was gorgeous by the way, love the frc in red and the ms3 sounded unreal through the mufflers. Wait till the bullets are in, thats gonna be sick.

hey im actually located in worcester massachusetts, but i go to foxwoods every once in a while so we could meet these upcoming weekends if your available. What city/cities is plainfield near? Yea ill def get a clip too and send it to you, just need to get my digital camera to load the files onto my comp as its being a pain in the *** right now and wont load anything. As for the strano sway bars they are by far the best on the market. Sam Strano has done like auto-x driving for quite some time and he uses the same bars on his auto-x car. As for the color I went with black but havent recieved them yet so im sure there are pics on the site, but if i get them soon ill snap some pics for ya. The bmr's are nice too but id go with the strano bars as ive heard nothing but great things about them.

Just wondering if your planning on going to the track at all, always looking for fellow chevy guys to ride up with, since my friends own fords, lightning, cobra. And you planning on entering into to summer nationals, my car will be done soon, maybe we could meet up somtime.
