i would assume, you could.. get pictures of the problem spot, and the damages done. talk to the the department of transportation.

I'm in that process right now. Last week when we hit 100 degrees a couple days in a row, the concrete expanded and the road crumbled. I hit it doing 60 mph and it cracked my front wheel in half, dented my headers and k-member, and I'm not sure what else.

My question is how do I get them to pay for new headers????

Get on that you should be able too, they most definately need to have that sign road construction ahead use at your own risk. I would think you've got a winner there or atleast what you got broken off replaced, take some pics right away dont touch it and get ahold of town people in charge.

By the way, I contacted our Penn DOT, and they sent me a re-imbursment form. The road was so bad that they closed the road and sent out an emergency crew to repair the road as it was 'unsafe for travel'. So that's why I'm going after Penn DOT.

From what i've read you have a shot. But if that TQ arm was aftermarket you'll probbly be SOL.

Good luck and sorry to hear about your luck.

You'll at least be able to recoupe some of the funds I would think. Even if they give you the price of a stocker, that's better than nothing. Same thing goes for the wheel...btw, my G-mom that lives in PA calls them Penn DONT, because they don't do much.
