Default 2002 Camaro 6-Speed low miles $16,999!!! Boston Area

UPDATE.....SEE POST 10...REDUCED TO $14,999!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 2002 Z28 LS1 6-Speed is up for sale now that I have 2…count em 2 babies at home!!!! As much as I hate to sell my car, it must be gone to lower my monthly bills and now that I have the truck I will have to mod that to stay sane!!!!

This car when it was factory stock dyno’d 315/333 RWHP on a hot day at Dez racing in Seekonk Mass and ran a 12.9 at 110 @ NED 2 years ago with 17K on the clock the next week. I have not run the car at the track since it was stock, I had big plans for the car but it turned into my daily driver before I could get any of them done. I have the original window sticker if anyone is interested.

Here it goes…..

2002 Camaro Z28
48,000 Miles (3 round trips to South Florida)
Factory sport appearance package
Fogs
LS6 block (one of the lucky ones to get the short block from the factory)
6-Speed with stock 3.42 LSD rear
Leather (Ebony and its Mint)
T-Tops with shades
Hurst Short Shifter option, has a UMI short stick on the base now with the Hurst ****
ASR (Hooray traction control on a sports car)
Power windows, locks
Cruise control and tilt wheel
Power driver’s seat
Monsoon single CD
A/C (Blows very cold)
ABS

Mods: Very minor but…..

SLP Lid with K&N Drop In
UMI short stick
Hypertech programmer for the spedo recal for wheels and fan controls (Unit Included)
Raptor Shift Light
C6 Z06 Hyperblack wheels
285 Nitto 555R’s in the rear (1500 miles ago), 275 Falken 451’s on front (Falken’s suck)
Just put new rotors on the front and ceramic pads
Gets redline oil and K&N filter every 5K
SLP Loudmouth exhaust
NGK TR55 Irridium plugs, new OEM wires (at 39,243 miles)
Vinyl racing stripes

To be perfect:

The car was bumped lightly in a parking lot on the front bumper cover so it is slightly mis-aligned and starting to crack where it was bumped. Not a big deal but to be 100% you could have a shop put on a new bumper cover and paint to match. There are also a few minor paint chips in the hood from my highway trips to Florida over the last few years.

Pictures are from 3 months ago when I had the Boyds on. The pics at the bottom are a month ago with the C6 Z06’s and Nittos on.

Car runs better than new and has NO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS!!!!! EVERYTHING WORKS 100%

$16,999 or best offer.

THE PICS ARE AFTER THE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT BUMPER....ITS MINOR BUT I HAVE TO BE HONEST, I DON'T WANT SOMEONE TO THINK I AM PULLING A FAST ONE!!! IF YOU LOOK CLOSE YOU CAN SEE THE PASSANGER SIDE IS SLIGHLY OUT OF ALIGNMENT. MIKE

Car is located around Boston, Mass 02155

UPDATE: I was out racing a guy that wanted to buy the car and I now have the famous “Stuck in 4th” problem, so it will need a new trans. Good news is: you can put whatever clutch you want in there and have the trans built to any performance level you want, I got quoted $1000 for removal, rebuild with upgraded shift fork and re-install.

That being said….I WILL TAKE $2000. OFF THE ASKING PRICE TO ACCOMODIATE FOR THE INCONVIENENCE OF HAVING TO GET IT FIXED!!!!! Like I said everything else in the car works 100% and it’s a quick, mostly stock car, mid 12’s on the stock tires when I had it to the track with 17k miles.

When it was stock it dyno'd 315/333 at the rear wheels.

Now Has : SLP Loudmouth Exhaust, SLP Lid, Hypertech Tuner For Gears And Speed Limiter, 18 X 9.5 C6 Z06's with 285 Nittos on the rear, 275 451K’s on the front, Hurst shifter with UMI Short Stick, 49K miles, T-Tops, Ebony Leather Interior, ASR, Sport Appearance Ground Effects Kit, ABS, Cruise, Air Conditioning, Tilt, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, Stereo Controls On The Wheel, Monsoon CD Stereo, Auto Lights, Fog Lamps, Black Racing Stripes, Raptor Shift Light, New Front Rotors And Ceramic Pads 380 Miles Ago!!!

This car had a sticker of 32K in 02, I am now asking:

14,999 FIRM!!! May consider partial trades for ATV, Motorcycle (Dual Sport also) Dirtbike, or 2 person Go-Carts….basically more toys!!!
