With your mods... your will run a time to get tossed
You could make some 1/8th passes before running a full 1/4.

theyr pretty cool as long as your not a dick to them obviousley...when i went i had my roll cage flame suit helmet and other assorted safety gear and they said i was ok to go but next time id need screw in valve stems which i found, foam for my roll bar and a bracket for the seat...just check their site to make sure you have what they require on there and they shouldnt hassle you unless you fly

they gave me a hard time about not having a blow down tube, padding on my roll cage, and an approved helmet

Just go by the rules and it's easy. They are flexable on convertable Vette's because they run mid 12's from the factory..

As for Nitrous--you guy's should have a blowdown anyways ,even if you don't go to the track

Helmet- thats a no brainer but they should really lower the ET for it-like when you run a cage or something.

Cage padding-thats a no brainer too,it hurt's like a bastard if you nail the cage.

Agreed, I guess they were giving me a hard time because IHRA rules are different from NHRA rules. Where I race in NC, they really arent strict AT ALL about little things like padding on the cage, and a blow down tube, and as long as you have a helmet, they let you race:dunno:
