Default Local CT tuners

Hey guys I am checking around to get rough prices on tuners local to the CT area. Do they do hourly or flat rates? What does the average tune cost? I am just doing some research thanks.

There is a sticky above with the shops that tune in the NE area. I would suggest trying to stay with those shops since there is alot of shady tuner's out there now.Atleast the sponsor's will tune the car right.

As for prices our's is $500 which is a warrentied street tune and finished with the dyno.

Some places are cheaper to throw a basic tune in. Technically a lid and catback cost's more than a tune.I garrenty the car would be faster with the tune and stock parts

You also have to think that these tuning shops paid probly $8k-$12k for the tuning software,$30k+ for the dyno and still spend time on your car. It adds up

East side is in wallingford CT. they do dyno/street tune for i think 400-450 call the shop (nuber is in my sig.
but like slowhawk said, stick with a sponsor, lots of shaddy stuff.
if you are closer to ttp or dez, im sure they will get you going very well.

Just curious do you do "street tuning" for part throtle normal drivability only and then do the dyno for max power full throttle runs?

Retunes @ eastside are also free unless it has to go on the dyno, then you only pay for the dyno time too, so gear changes, that sort of stuff is a freebie once you've done the initial.
