WTB: Busted LSx Block

WTB: Busted LSx Block I need an LSx block for mocking up purposes. Does anybody have one they are looking to get rid of? Condition of block really doesn't matter at all as long as I can bolt a bellhousing and motor mounts to it. It could be windowed, cyl walls scratched to hell.. doesn't matter. Only preference would be for an aluminum block as it would be easier to move around.

Yeah, they are around $400 and I'm a little shaky of welding to plates bolted onto it, so I'd just as soon spend $50 on a junk block that I can fixture the items I'm welding. Thanks for the advice though!

Yep, starting to mock up the tube frame and a block would be helpful. And I ended up not buying that Lq4 I told you about. As good of a deal as it was, it would have ended up costing me too much in the long run.

Most likely it will end up with an L92... but things are happening so quickly in the LS1 world, god only knows what my options will be once this thing is actually ready for a functional engine :-)
