Angry 8 days and already damage!

Stop at Home Depot this morning. I always park my car away from the crowd. As I'm leaving the store, I notice a shopping cart next to the front left quarter of my WRX. First thought, damage.

When I get to my car, sure enough, there is a little dent! I'm almost positive where the cart came from, and came close to approaching the couple - but can't prove anything. If I only left the store a few minutes early...

I hate it when people just let the cart role away like that.

Boy, do I miss the composite panels of the camaro!

people really are so careless when it comes to that stuff. I had my new car for a week, was driving to work in traffic and a truck cuts me off with rocks flying off the back of his trailer. I guess they is why the say buy a DD that doesn't matter. Sorry to hear

(giving credit to purevl and others for a term I'm about to use)

I really wanted to approach this cockrocket, but really couldn't prove that he was the one that let the cart go. If I only left the store a few minutes early...

Anyway, when my Z28 was a week old, there was already a good size ding on the left rear quarter.

But you are right, it's a daily driver and will receive battle scars.

I hate that, I guess I have lucked out since my car hasn't got any "battle scars" in its two years of daily driving!

I had some skull hook up my wrx with a door ding in the drivers side rear door... pissed me off.

But, on teh subject or daily damage.. I have so many rock chips from driving up I84/I91 every day it's not even funny, I've already had the windshield replaced once too from a rock hitting it and cracking it. This car is by far the worst with the rock chips... my pickup went the same route for a year and the bumper got a little sandblasted, but the chrome is still fine. I think the paint on subaru's must be soft or something because this car, honestly in 3 years will have zero paint left on the front of it.. I can already see myself getting the front of the car repainted in 2 years just because it's gonna have none left.

I've read that Subaru is weak when it comes to paint.

My Hyundai is all sorts of beat up. The people at my office are a bunch of gorrillas I absolutely refuse to take the Trans Am there, no matter how nice it is. I may hold off for a while, I know spring is on the way as well as summer. The 1st ding I get I might just freak out and hurt someone.

I can speak from first hand experience.. the quality of the paint job was good, it looked really nice, but as far as durability, it sucks. Exactly what I'd expect from a ricer car

lol, and this is my primary car! On the flip side, I'm happy with the performance, especially since the 06+ are putting down 200 to the wheels!

For me it definitely has enough options, and I like the TR version - no crap such as a spoiler!!

that's why I bought a tr.. no spoiler. Decreased the rice effect some. I wanted to buy a sti.. but they told me that they wouldn't do one withoutthe spoiler, so I didn't buy it.

naah... I already have one fast car, no need for that thing. my rex gets me where I have to go, does in 89 octane with no problems and gets about 25 mph on average... I'm fine with that. I have zero use for anything faster to use daily really. Anytime I want to go fast, I just go out in the garage, fire the transam up and go for a little ride... speed fix is all set after that

Besides... that car still isn't gonna really fast.
