Went to atco today the track was cold and the hook was not great. Best 60 foot i could get was a 1.66 new clutch is taking some getting used to. Spent most of the day doing 1/8 mile so i would not get thrown out of course at the end of the day i was thrown out with a 10.96@127 went a 11.11 and a 11.2 hook was not there i either spun or bogged I will get the hang of it soon. The da was around -750 not bad not great air did not realy feel crisp. Currently my car is down on hp sence i installed my valve springs guess the tighter springs rob hp i dynoed about 10 hp less after the spring install i was not happy about that but the cam will make up for it. Just worryed about the couple guys that broke springs and droped valves dont want to be a statistic. And on the way home i noticed a shiny car in front of me saw the cars reflection and in the reflection was my front plate blocking my aircharger "forgot to take it off for racing" that probily explains the very low mph more so then the 10 hp loss in the springs. Atleast i got to beat on the car and learn the new clutch. Might go 1 more time before the cam install. Maybe if my water pump is in by next week.

That plate would hurt you a little but I dont think I would call 127mph NA a low mph. Good luck with the car, it's running strong

your car is moving, try not to be so negative, you have an awesome car!
The barometer was low yesterday(29.70) which is why the car may been down a 1-2mph. What are the advantages to C5 axles in a C6 Z06?

Wow open already?

It's too frigging cold to hook up, just from stop lights I see the traction control light flashing, I can't picture putting the pedal down!

Once I get my next and long list of toys on i'll be there Oddly, this season the g/f is supporting me both mentally and $$ wise I get to buy a toy on her dollar w00tz

I guess it's worth keeping me out of the house

saw you there bro (z06 guy). i was the guy with the pewter formula asking stupid questions about vettes haha. nice talking to you, sick ride.

i was not all that happy either, hit 4 12.0's @ 112mph the rest 12.1 & 12.2 but couldn't get the elusive 11.9X on motor. not bad for 2.73's i guess but the air isn't gonna get much better so i doubt i'll get it out of the car with only boltons.

fun day however, got about 10 runs in a 3 hour period, WITH 2 breakages on the track. probably more like 40 cars there...

look forward to seeing you there when i get the drivetrain together, we can do my spray to your motor run for ***** and giggles, both get kicked out at the same time

I actually like the contrast. In the the summer you car gets hot in 2 seconds- in this weather you can leave the heat on an idle all day and not even get too warm. The salty roads keep me away though.
