Looks like I missed a decent turnout.

If you know Corey or cooter (same person) on HRF give him some **** for me.
We spent all day doing an engine swap on his LT1 and it's still not done.

Damn I missed out a good turn out. Owell. I will be out next weekend. Hopefully I will have time this upcoming week to shine the car up some, Beings how my wife is the only one that has driven it since I left, And when she drives vehicles they tend to get dirty as hell.

It looked like the sky was gonna open up. The wife and I went to that Italian resteraunt up the road from Bass Pro and just headed home after that.

I would not have been any fun anyway considering I am supposed to closed and delivered on 23 April and the builder STILL has not even started to lay the sheet rock. Our delivery has already been pushed back a month. If I am not sheet rocked by next Saturday its going to be an interesting afternoon in the sales trailer.

I have come to the conclusion that all home builders are scum bags.... no matter how many "freebies" they throw in and promises they make.

Hahaha! I was talking to Gyrene2003 about this at Bass Pro on Saturday! We were wondering when the admin would get fed up and just open up a Hampton Roads forum!

Hey Kyle,
I'm thinking about going to the track next Friday (4/13). Is there a good one to go to that is less busy but still has decent prep? I've only got maybe 30 passes with the car and its been a year since I raced it, so I'm a little rusty and could use some extra practice passes!

Default Hey guys I have a couple of questions you might be able to help me out on

Well I just noticed I have a very bad vacuum leak, On the passenger side, right behind the TB, It is a big line maybe 3/4", It travels from behind the TB all along the Passenger side valve cover and back behind the engine, What line is that for? Is it to my air?

My car is an 02 Z28, no egr but it has the air and I disconected it when I put my headers on. They have been on for about 6 months, The hose just kind of collapsed and has about a 1/4" hole and when I put my finger over it the engine RPM, Drops really low, almost to a stall point. But when I don't put my finger over the hole, it will idle about 8 to 900 rpm, In park that is.

If it is my air, were and how can I cap that port off, and how can I keep my car's RPM's up? because I think If I was to put it in gear and that hole be blocked the car would die, or really be sluggish.

Any takers????

Thanks in advance

VMP's track prep as far as traction was awsome..... one thing i can say though is get there as soon as it opens and you can get some runs in.....
Quite a few people showed up......
Ill be doing the track down in NC. Outer Banks Raceway..... its about the same distance but 1/8 mile. Ill be using it to dial in my 60' and launch....

VMP is the closest 1/4 track.

I wasnt impressed by the track officials and the way they handled the track....

Sounds like the pcv hose to me...It should connect to a line from the back of each valve cover also.
