Went to E-Town today

This was my first time out with the car in about a year. My first pass I took it easy and didn't launch the car hard at all (4500 RPM) and went 11.30 @ 123mph missing 3rd to 4th. Next run I launched hard at 6600 RPM and pulled the front tires well over 2 ft high, needless to say I almost **** myself. I was a little shook but managed to pull off a 11.103 @124. My next pass I launched at 6900RPM but spun real hard the tires didnt even come up and ran a 11.036 @ 126 or 127 mph dont remember left the slip in my buddies truck. After that run I was told I couldn't run anymore until I get an up to date helmet, install 5 pt harness etc... I was very pleased to see those times after not going to the track quite some time, with a little practice shifting and some weight reduction (3610 raceweight) I hope to see mid 10's. Thanks to CARTEK for the kick *** heads and cam setup and tune. I've driven this car from North Carolina to New Jersey many times while I was in the military, and it never skipped a beat. Also big thanks for Mike aka DRVETTE for doing an outstanding job welding my rollbar in. Very top notch work

My car is at Cartek waiting for Monday.. Getting some goodies.. Wish I had seen you pull the wheels. I was at E-Town on Sat for street wars, but I was having trouble getting traction. Sounds like you had a good time
