Firehawk finally modded...thanks Slowhawk!
Thanks a ton to Don "Slowhawk" at Dez Racing for doing a great job on my Firehawk. My car was running like crap...(found out it was a bad MAF) and a few other problems now it's running like new! I had him install Kooks headers, Kooks ORY, new MAF, BMR subframe connectors, plugs, wires, O2 sensors, tranny mount, and a dyno tune. When it got there it was so bad...250 HP @ 4,400 RPM at the wheels with a 17:1 a/f ratio...and it left with just those mods and a lid now pushing 344.94 HP and 350 LBS/Torque. Thanks a lot Don it's awesome!
Here's the dyno chart...

I thought I was the only hawk don's seen in a while. Glad to see There's another hawk in the area and a 100 hp increase to boot I've known Don like forever (since '01 at least ) and he still loves to mod cars now as much as he did then. He's a real practical when it comes to mods and won't BS you. Over the years he's trained himself to be one of the top Tuners for real world results in the NE. Glad you found a way to hook up with him
If your curious what a mild cam will do for you look at my dyno (link in my sig) as we have similar setups. Best of luck!

It is good to get a car like that.It was so lean you'd roll on the gas and it would pretty much stall, then take off. Probly the best $$ he ever spent. Now it's safe. And for the record this was probly the highest hp 00 F-body we've ever dyno'd with these mods and it only has 24 degree's of timing. The mod list is very short with a 160 t-stat,Kook headers ,ORP Y-pipe, Some catback(don't know what it is but it's very quiet),descreened MAF (had it laying around to replace broken one), Lid and street tuned.
After the clutch is replaced I'd like to see a LS6 intake, underdrive pulley, ported TB. That might push him to 360rwhp.Then we'll talk Cams
