State Police Z28

Saw a state trooper on 95 this morning in a mint burgundy 98+ Z28....

That is all.

They are still around, I think I know that one the trooper's name should be Booker if I recall. When we went to NED we saw like 5 of them on the Mass pike.

Nice. Thing was clean. I imagine its an automatic. Didnt see if it was a hardtop or not. But I'm sure it was.

There are a few B4C M6's around, but VERY few....I've never seen a Monterey Maroon B4C....gotta be a rare one. WJ

connecticut has 3 02 camaro z28's, but im pretty sure there switching over to chargers this week or next. Dark blue ones. they look pretty sweet with the lights..

if you guys waan buy and of the old B4C cars there is a dealer in NY that buys most of them. he ususally sells them for about 6 -9,000$ depending on milage and stuff. al theones ive seen there were auto hard top z-28s. and one auto lt-1 formula. but he gets new stuff in all the time. also has a lot of 9c1 caprices. Ill get the name from my buddy and post it up later.

I saw a few this past weekend driving though VA.

I never knew any were made with m6 though. I thought cops needed auto as they have to fiddle with radio comp etc?

Did it look like this one?

Its one of 3 2002 CSP B4C Camaros, it only has 41000 miles on it, next time you see me, pull over I'll gladly show you the car!!

That would be the one....Saw ya right on the rest stop by exit 41 in between two regular cruisers. Nice car

Must be fun to be able to drive around an LS1 all day and get paid for it....

Well actually....you have to do a lot of other stuff...but the LS1 is one cool part of the job

Same here, they seem to come out of nowhere sometimes. Its gotta be so cool to be able to police around in one of those cars.

No blk roofs on the B4C cars, unless it's a blk one, Joe.....Ma. State Police barracks one town away from me had a red M6 chase car, think it was a '99, that they used almost exclusively on Rts. 190/290. Think it may have been replaced, cause haven't seen it around at all. If one Trooper has the car in his possession since new, some of these cars get real good care, incl. good fleet maintainence.....the maroon car of Trooper Dave sure seems to be one of them. These low mile good, clean B4C's are bringing $10-13k at the municipal surplus auctions. ('01-'02's) High-mile ratty B4C's can be had in the $5-6k range.There were a number of these cars out of the New York FBI office that were well taken care of, and were taken out of service in the 60k mile range that were very nice....I've done considerable research on these cars....they are NOT a dime a dozen, such as the Z-28/SS cars, and many B4C's have a pretty cool history....

Here is my old B4C

I Loved the car to death. I purchased it from a wholeseller that buys cars from police auctions. My old car was used by a FBI agent in North Jersey/NYC. The only reason i got rid of it was to buy a Trans Am so I would have one of each type of F-Bodies but i do miss it
