Your better off saving the $600 for gears and labor for a 12 bolt or 9"
I learned the hard way.... broke 3 sets and could of bought a built rear with the $$$$ they were 3.73's also........ and that was with 323rwhp...
10 Bolts suck...

That's exactly what I was thinking. Just leaving the 10 bolt alone until it breaks

Darren, I have to recommend Yukon brand gears, thats what I have in the truck and they are tough... my 10 bolt has lived through some pretty decent 60ft times on the bottle with slicks with almmost 4500#'s on top of it... I know its a different 10 bolt but they are very good gears to put in anything. I also have Yukon axles and diff, FWIW

Yeah there a HUGE difference...... your 8.5" 10 Bolt and out POS stock 7.5" 10 bolt wont handle anywhere near the same power.....

I bought my car with 4.10s already installed in the stock rear along with yukon axles and a TA girdle. If I were to do it with my own $ I would just save up for a 12 bolt and be done with it.

Sounds good. I downloaded what I think is the right program...tunerpro rt? I saved the instruction manual to my desktop also. Reading it over real quick and it doesn't look like it is too difficult to change wot fueling.
