Great day for sonic snake and others Gary had a great day at the track this weekends, we all went for the Nopi Nationals. He was onyl running a 150 shot on his 346 with drag radials and well lets just say fast sub 9.60's...he will chime in with his times.
We also had three cars from our shop there, our SSO car had to run with the 10.5 tire guys so that was tough. They went 7.53 at 193 but had to run another car from miller race cars, Ray johnson in the first round. Ray went a 7.43 at 198 to win. Ray lost in the semi's but they both had a great week.
Last was Nate Pritchard from pinks, he made it to the finals in radial tire only to have it rain, they will run the final at the next Nopi event.

I wanted to go down yesterday to see.. but I ended up having a last minute family thing to do.
Good to hear Gary's car ran well, after talking to him yesterday I ordered a set of those drag radials, hopefully they work as well for me as they did for him, 1.3x 60 foot times are damn good!

Surprising he didn't touch the wall. Now the motor is getting torn down and some new parts are going in.It was detuned on the last outing.Car made little power on the dyno.

Yeah he said it made 800 with a safe tune. Mike said he thought he could get 163-165 mph out of it but didnt want to kill him....and it weighs 3350..very impressive car.

Maybe later in the year we will but none of our shop cars are setup to run a 8.5 index anymore

The funny part is that car cost us very little $$ to get going. Wish LS1 cars were as cheap.
