It was never a hurdle,we've had all our tuned cars pass that run MAF's. The big question was mafless since there is a permanent code.

Thats what mean... In CT if there is a code like a MAF that will fail emissions, so it saves in the hassel of retuning to get though ever 2 years.

Once your car is tuned SD you'd wonder why you didn't do it first thing with that motor. For big motor/cam setup's SD should be mandatory. It runs 100% better.

Does that mean my car should feel even better, besides the addition of the new power?? Throttle response is a given but what else to expect? Or just more so, on the big motor/cam set-up's?

If the shop has some free time this season maybe I'll have them give it a try and see what they can do with it..... but for now I won't worry about it. Just gutting the cats seemed to help alot.

For your FI it will feel stronger and more precise. If you add boost it will self adjust up to 15lbs.SD works awesome for Cammed FI or turbo setup's. Marcels car drives like stock with a cam,Mike can adjust his Turbo from 8lbs to 15lbs and timing -A/F adjusts automaticly unlike a MAF car.

Oh no, that may have been bad to tell me.. They make smaller pullies for the D-1SC... DOH... I found someone selling a 3.75" just last night too.

Good to know though... Thanks Don!

I'm thinking of opening up the intake and the cat-back sounds weak which could hurt power.

Yeah I stated it on the GTO board that I figured at this point the factory cat-back may be choking it a bit... someone had previously suggested I ditch it for custom magnaflows... I am thinking sweet thunder chambered mufflers too allow more room for a larger diameter one piece drive shaft!

Opening the intake up... I have no idea how we'd fit 4" pipe in there...it's 3.5" already...?? If there's a will there's a way!
