Kerminator is in pieces * Pics not 56k friendly *
Can you imagine that this whole car is going to be reassembled later tonight? We haven't even started building the motor yet we should have it back by 1pm from the machine shop. We have the fire extinguisher mount done by jon, jason is working on the battery relocation and kill switch now.
Here's a few quick snapshots:
Jon's sick *** LSx tattoo
I am getting the car back together to go racing tomorrow. Then I will be at etown friday night and definitely for the efi event. Just have to make sure I don't click off my 9 second passes I will not have the 10-point done by then.

lol Drew.
We had to stop at 1:10am this morning due to these f***ing piston rings. I got the akerly and childs piston ring set through SDPC (Totally not SDPC's fault they hooked me up with nda shipping late in the day on tuesday so props to them!!). Except, the friggin top ring gaps range from .0027 to .0032 without even filing them. The second rings all overlap each other, so they are ok just need major filing. REALLY REALLY poor quality control on A & C's part. I am so pissed right now because we were set to work through the night build the motor and fire this thing around 11-12 tomorrow morning. I was thinking of just gapping them big and throwing the shot on this motor, but I dont think the GRP 1200's will handle a 250+ shot, but I will talk to GRP tomorrow on that. If these rods would handle it I will keep these rings and just through a shot on the car.
Let's see how A&C handles this situation because it is utter bullshit, we checked the hone measurements about 15 times just to make sure it wasnt in the machine work and it is not. The only thing that would make me happy is sonic same day air, which we all know won't happen.
Oh, and aluminum grp's are the way to go. My entire rotating assembly balanced in under 1400 grams

LOL Brad. They are awesome. I have to find out the exact weight on the pistons. Here is another set of updates:
More updates to come. Nick is done with all the top rings and now on the third second ring. We are going .032 and .034. I have the front mount fuel cell coming for the car tomorrow including the aeromotive pump, filters, regulator, rails and the 4 gallon rci front mount cell. Still have to do the cage around the fuel cell considering it is just outisde the frame rail.
I have to sit down and think about what nitrous setup to go with, but with this gap I am good for at least 300hp if needed
The motor will be built and in the car later today. We are hooking up the battery charge posts, and the switch panel that you see above. ALong with working on a cam install, c5 oil pan r/r and clutch r/r and building another motor at the same time. It's real hectic here but we couldnt do it without the assistance of the entire staff:
