first mods are in, what next? I have pacesetter longtube headers and y-pipe, hooker catback, slp lid, and control arms and brackets in. It feels awsome, the dif. is amazing, I really wasn't expecting such a difference but I'm only human and can't stop the urge from wanting more. I have an A4 98 T/A. It's high mile's and I want to get a tranny cooler to be safe, but I want to hold off on the torque converter until I'm ready for a cam atleast, even then I'm nervous about getting a torque converter because I'm worried about the tranny having such high mile's, but they seem to be highly recommended with a cam.
I am thinking an ls6 intake should be next mod and tune? Is a tune really worth it right now? I've done some searching and they say abviously if I get more mods to wait, but I'm wondering what kinda gains I would see, with or without the ls6 intake mani, it might determine whether I even want to get a cam in the future, if I can make good power with just bolt on's I'd be happy, just wanna be sure I get the right one's that are worth the money and work well togather.

Get the converter before the intake . The verter will take half a second off you 1/4 and make the car faster allover. The intake may get you a ttenth and will feel like stock. Get it tuned regardless

Put it this way, too many, so little time or money.
With the cats out id def get a tune 1st. But a intake couldnt hurt and it will help when you optimize the setup, converter and gears are great but not needed as much as a tune. Also get a cooler regardless, its going to extend the life of the 4LJunkieE

Cooler and Converter 1st, If you want an LS6 intake I'll have one for you this winter. Either way Tune Tune Tune, A4's need tuning all the time anyways, You gotta make buddies w/ your tuner so you can come over and harass him once and a while

Auto car's need a good converter, that's what brings the cooleness level back up when people find out it's not a stick, LOL. Plus you will be half a second faster at the track with DR's.
