Need some help!!

Whats up guys.

My brother lives in Michigan and has a 2000 mustang GT (i know a mustang) and the motor is gone in it. Put a hole in the oil pan and seized the thing up.

I have no idea what kind of prices we are looking at but i need to get a motor for the thing. I would like to build something alittle better then stock but he doesn't have that much money to play with.

Any help would be great. Things i would love to find out are how much the 4.6 cost. Where i could start looking for them. And what kinda power is possible on a very low budget.

Any help would be huge. Thanks!

why not post this on one of the 40 mustang boards? i dont think people would mind helping but we are ls-x guys. i doubt many of us follow that specific engine model as well as the mustang guys.

I agree with that. I am an LSx guy my self...what mustang boards would you go to. I've looked at a bunch of them but have no idea about what board to go to. Just thought i would put a post up here and get alittle help from my friends

i dont know much of anything about the 5.0 or 4.6 mustangs.

mr. b is more up to date on mustangs than most of us. he actually owns one now and just bought a new motor for it now as i think of it.

Ha I over looked that and i hear good things about him.

Chef you most likely don't remember me but i came up to eastside a long time ago with Wayne (tatoy) and had my camaro tuned. Thanks for pointing out slowhawk.
