Thumbs up How much of a Dork are you??

Hey everyone. For the people out there that have dorky hobbies or intrest list some of things you have done.

I for an example, play video games, not nearly as much now with the more expensive car hobby, I dont even own a Xbox 360, Wii, or PS3. I got a lowly PS2.

Welp since it has backwards compatibility. I wanted to play an old PS1 game. This one I beat it every which way, got the best rating, all secrets unlocked.... welp 8 years or so later I wanted to play it again. I had to buy it used for 26 bucks!!! It goes brand new like 80!!!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_Evil_2

So list some of the dorky things you have done??

Oh and Cronic Masturbation is not considered dorky, its just considered sad.

Hmm Play Video games, PS2/computer
(Just bought a PS3, cheap)

Build computers.
Read hardware reviews.
I enjoy using Linux.
I read IT handbooks for fun.
I like playing w/ photoshop.
Play with my Nitro truck.
At one point I had 7 computers in my house.
I like the challenge of fixing broken eletrical components.
Car Audio, not as much in recent years.
My MP3 collection would rival most veteran DJ's
I used to play modem games.

And I'm sure many other Nerdy things, all while typing w/ one hand baby.

I don't have a system anymore (game's take too long these days I hate getting cought up in em and being stuck on one part for days) but I've recently started playing chess again with some friends online, lol. And to top it off, I used to love Spider-man comic books and was really excited for the third movie. But ironically I liked transformers a lot more and I never even watched those cartoons (I think I was watching ninja turtle's back then).

Yeah they are. Get's expensive though. You break a lot of stuff. Definately an attention grabber.

BTW some of the games I most avidly play are done so with steering wheels and plastic guitars. My wife (in 10 days ) thinks I'm a little kid sometimes, then her Dad comes over and plays with me, LOL.

How about, I've listened to the directors commentary on all 4 Aliens movies, start to finish.

It's amazing I even have time to do any non dorky car related things.

I'm completely anti dork. However, I'm 34 years old and play World of Warcraft religiously. My girlfriend's family all play and they got me hooked.

I play my Xbox 360 a bit when its not broke.

Nitro's RC's expensive? These things were about 3k each to build and thats just two of my collection. Sometimes wonder why I got into that hobby.

Yea i thought those were cool, till I found out a spark plug the size of my pinky nail cost $8... and I realized that was probably the cheapest part on the whole thing.

P.S. Where's the turbo???

I used to play video games all the time, mostly sports games but every once in a while id be down for a good role RPG type game. Also, up until about 3 years ago I collected Baseball, basketball, and Football cards religiously (25 now, so basically I was the huge 22 year old 6'8 245 pound dork hovering around tables at card shows haha) . Now basically I have no time for any hobbies besides work (Financial analyst for Fidelity), renovating my new house, and playing basketball. I really wish I had more time though to get back into some of the hobbies though. Anyone else collect cards?

Jokeman, that's some serious stuff you got there. I like the Revo's too. But I only replace stuff I break. On my 3.3 I've changed only the front A arms and pushrods and a few little things. I've gone through almost 3 gallons this year.

That Titanium stuff must of cost you a pretty penny. I've got so many hobbies I have to draw the line on some things, I'm sure my RC truck has cost me almost 1k this year including purchase. I'm a basher so I am not about to invest a lot into something I'm gonna send 20ft into the air at 40mph.

I do have manly hobbies though like hunting and fishing and gun collecting

Come out my way and you might see me booning out in the woods in the jeep with a few guns to take out target shooting, playing Big and Rich on my way there. I'm like a Dorky semi-Redneck guy *shrug*
