**** just put some thicker oil in there and it should be good to go.... jk. Get a new tranny when you get back and throw a stall in there and run some low 12's....

well there was no 12 second passes in the stock 01 Mustang this weekend but there was a 13 and I was stoked about it. Good job again Darren and Ben you house on wheels did awesome to buddy.

yeah man, I was impressed with how your car ran too... maybe the headlight mod?? LOL did it feel any better on the big end? deflating those tires and holding out 3rd is probably what got you there.

Thanks man. Its been a hard road getting this big bitch there. and to do it on the rubber I drive around on every single day, makes it that much sweeter... some slicks will get me deep in the 12's, either that, or break everything behind the flexplate LOL....

I fully understand dropping ET times going from what you drive on the street with to more of a pure drag tire. Going from a Nitto RII to MT DR I dropped over a full second. Nothing like skipping a second in the ET's.

there were only 5 sessions I believe... they were running gamblers races and everything too so you couldnt hotlap or go run like you wanted to. they marked your tech sticker each time you made a pass so you couldnt get back in line after you ran... it was about an hour and a half between runs... maybe more. like the vast majority of us there, I only got 4 runs in... I missed the first session getting the truck off the trailer and doing some final prep stuff.

Well, im totaly happy and i accomplished with those gears what i wanted before i leave for Iraq, now i know where i stand, NEW BUILT TRANNY AND A STALL and its deep 12s on stock internals!
