its not bogging down at all anymore, and it just burns the tires up if i get on it in first or second gear. weird, right?
the exhaust is leaking a lil around the band clamps that hold the x pipe to the collectors...but its been doing that for a while. I thought i felt a small vibration on the highway at ~70mph, but i couldnt pinpoint it, and it didnt do it all the time. i think it might be the front end out of alignment/tires need to be rebalanced.
other than that....good to go
still needs a tune of course.

Might want to pull the plugs to see if they are fouled from it running rich while you had the exhaust off. High temp copper RTV will help the band clamps to seal.

sean, answer your phone..
it idles pretty well, but it still kinda hunts a lil bit...but it will hold a steady idle with the a/c on. stays at about 900rpm a/c, and 700 with it off.

well, i just took the car through the car wash down the street (a car wash ive went to hundreds of times), and it started misfiring on the way home. Im assuming i just got something wet, and it will dry out and be ok...
i swear i have terrible luck nowadays...fix something and then something else breaks
im going to finish cleaning it up and drive it later to see if its still doing it...hopefully its not!

The videos are all on the same dvd.... Once the dvd is finalized, I will edit it and have them up. Its not my camera so as soon as Lee gets his *** in gear and does something.... I tell him everytime I see him about it. Maybe Chris can make him do it.

Tranny is on the way out and i think the car has 12.60s in it, but not before i fix the tranny, and by fix it i mean replace it when i get back with a bult tranny and a stall! All passes were consistantly better, my first pass was a 12.827@109 with a 1.935. Second pass was a 12.805@110 and cutting a 1.928 60ft. third pass was a 12.797@109.92 and cutting a 1.937. My fourth and last pass was the one i posted first. Im satisfied and know the car has more in it as it sits now, but tranny is on its way out.

Why do you think the tranny is on its way out? Just from it bouncing off the rev limiter? Did it just do it that one time, or all times? Did it drive home fine? Your car was definetly moving yesterday. Sounded good crossing the traps too....

It bounced of the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift every time i ran it. It drove home ok but i never went WOT on the way home. Im just not gonna mess around when i get back from deployment, i dont want too drop a stall in it and have the tranny take a **** after a few hundred miles.

any of the 3 Trans builders who are sponsors on here should be able to do you right on a nice trans. When you want to know more about it, let me know. I've been round the bush when it comes to these **** 60/65E's... I've finally found one thats holding well. As far as how you want it built or setup, we'll sit and talk about it and figure out what's gonna be best for you... that SS3600 is nice too but there may be something out there that will work better for you. We'll get you straight.
you definitely dont want to put a converter on the one you have now though... it'd smoke it in a heartbeat...
