DirecTV says the following:

After years of preparation, we’re excited that the first wave of new HD channels should be on the air by the end of September. Here are the channels we expect to be available first:

ive been waiting for speed to step up, i need hd on speed since i watch that channel the most

last week they said this week, I have been waiting for while they said over 100 HD channels in a few weeks when I got my hddvr last fall. Don't hold your breath.

what channel is Cinemax on direct tv? I still only have the regular HD channels.

I'm watching NHRA on espnHD now they opend tonight with a clip of John Force crashing, looks like his left rear tire blew apart spliting his chasse in two. He is broken up but they said he will make a full recovery in time.
