PB on a cold day at Atco!! Okay my turn (ha ha). After seeing everyone run so well yesterday at the track rental I was looking forward to going down today for t&t. Same great air but a nasty headwind/crosswind made it a little nasty. It was not crowded at all and you could get all the runs you want. First few runs were a little off til the track got some heat in it then it hooked really well for such a cold day. Anyway enough rambling, after a bunch of low 12.30 passes the car went a new best of 12.23 at 109.66 with a new best 60ft.of 1.69.
Also ran in the 20s 3 more times 24,26 and 28. I still haven't matched that crazy mph of last year since the converter went in but thats okay, the car hooks and 60 fts.so well its alot more fun. Still not bad for no bolt-ons not even headers, I can't expect much more out of it unless I try for some weight reduction and some skinnies.........hmmmmm......sounds tempting!
Guess its finally time for at least headers,and then a little cam....gotta see 11's next year!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!! I was going to post back to you last night that I wanted to see a post up from you today about a 12.20 run...but my laptop died

Thanx guys, it was a good day. Tommy I'm ready for those headers ( a couple of tenths shaved off - 12.00s maybe - wow! ). Kelsey you know I have to stay a tenth ahead of you even though your mph is sick and you,ll reel me in up top.. JL I have been thinking of spraying even a just a 100 dry shot to get into the 11's that would be fun. Rob, the temptation of skinnies and welds is definitley something to do, I still can't believe how much of a difference it can make. Thanx to everyone else hope to see you guys down there one more time this year or early next year.

I used to think my Z28 was a little bit of a freak (I had gone the same exact 12.23 on stock manifolds/cats with a converter and cut out but I also had skinnies and a raceweight of likely over 150 pounds less!
) but Greg's car wrote the book on Z28 freaks! He's could possibly go a 12.1 as the car sits before the year is out.
It was nice meeting you on Sat but damn it was cold! I'm sure if the headwind was there, you would have easliy been in the teens! I was the one cooking hamburgers and almost burn my gloves off!
