i don't think they'll kick you out the first time your run that fast but you'll def get a warning not to go faster then 11.49. they will kick ya off the track if you go that fast after they warn u. they gave me a ear full last year when i went 11.1. i think i was #3 qualifier and they disallowed it and made my 12.2 na pass as my qualifying time. just make sure u have a "sound suppresion device" or you won't be allowed to run

I would probably just detune the car and keep it slower then 11.5 to be honest. I know it sucks to put a bar in a street car but honestly, if you are fast enough to need the safety stuff you should have it.

Besides to run the bracket class, consistancey is the name of the game, doesn't matter how fast/slow the car is.

Not sure, I guess you could tell tech you want to run the quick 8 and if you don't make the field you could go in the bracket class. Good question.

I would think that you have to tell them that you want to run the quick 8, then if you don't make the field you probably have the option of running the bracket. That seems to make the most sense.
