I expect responses such as yours as there's always one in the crowd. I have a right to voice my opinion on my plate and its not all cops. Does it say all? Seems virginia is at the top. Getting a plate like I have isnt retarded. Its how I feel and it's what I wanted. I hope you get pulled over too and I expect you to be clapping your hands with joy since you seem to think it's nice getting pulled over for laws that dont really need to be there.

I've had cops behind me and beside me while driving the car with the plate and havent had them do anything and I've had the plate since last July. They pulled me over for no reason many times in the Trans Am. One time in fact I was coming back from lunch and a lady I worked with was 6 cars behind me and right behind a cop in a left hand turn lane. I at that time only had headers/loudmouth and she watched as we got the green arrow to go, the cop cut off 3 cars to get up to where I was. He pulled me over and proceeded to tell me I was going too fast but didnt clock my speed. He also told me that it was a 35mph zone when it wasnt...was 40 and when I corrected him he didnt say anything. I was doing the speed limit at the time...but again he didnt have radar or was clocking me. He then told me "watch what you do around here because your car is very visible". Well fact is he was behind me so he couldnt see the flames....what it was that caught his attention most likely was the sound of it.

And another time I actually had a front plate on the air dam like some do around here and still got pulled over for it. He was coming the other way as we all had to stop for a backhoe in the road. He turned around and followed me back to work to stop me. He saw I made an attempt to display it and wrote me up for "improper display of front plate". This was just a month after I got pulled over for no front plate.

My boyfriend has also has his run ins with the cops....being pulled over for NOTHING and always goes the speed limit since he drives for FedEx and can't get tickets. He also displays a front plate.

And there's ALOT of people that want to get rid of the front plate law in VA and there was a petition whic did come up but didnt get passed. Screwing holes into my front bumper with the special paint job isnt what I want to do to on my car.

And at least I have the nerve to stand up and not be a sheep like most of the people in this world.

 

I'm pretty sure it was my OP buddy so if I wanted to tell what I was wearing that day, I could have. I wasn't implying that I shouldn't have gotten the ticket because I was on my way to church, just thought it was a little ironic, that's all. You do know what that means don't you?

Also Philly Cops use "TRACKER" system. Your radar detectors are NO GOOD. I can sit still and clock you behind me, next to me or in front of me. The same goes if I'm moving.
