Get the car as high up as you can, makes tilting the drivers side header in easier.

A 2nd person makes the task alot easier too, someone to hold the header in place while the other guy gets a couple bolts started.

Yeah, I should have added the "safely" to the as high as possible part. I've seen people get cars up in the air on piles of wood, and alot of other unsafe things

If the car has the original manifolds and bolts on, take your time removing the old hard ware. When re installing use NEW GM MLS gaskets and bolts, DO NOT use with what came in the kit.

Depending on your brand of header you may have to slightly notch the K-member. I had to on my Jet-Hots and I heard Hooker as well as a couple others are the same. If you haven't done plugs in a while it would be a good time to do that too.

Otherwise it's pretty straight forward, when you take the coil packs off leave the last bolt on the passenger side off when you reinstall it. It's a bitch.

IF you take the passenger side coil pack off, take the backmost bolt out, and ******* throw it in the woods. It'll be easier to get to when it's there than if you ended up putting it back on the car
