Broke my stubs and went to Etown soon as it was done...
I picked it up saturday 11 am from Rocksand Racing for the stub to hub. Called Barry and Rick and said let's go to Etown. They were up for it. I had my new ET Streets an wanted and 11 second pass. Run #1 I bogged trying to get used to the tires. Run #2 not so good but at least a 1.8 60' on a 4k launch. Stopped by the scale on the way back and she weighed 3896 with me in it. Run #3 with the 4k launch was productive to say the least.....
Well, at least I have a DSS 1 piece driveshaft being delivered monday. Think the car is trying to tell me she don't like racing? Been fighing me since day 1.

Soon as I broke I opened the windows, took off my helmet, smiled and asked "...so which way do you want me to cut it guys?" I hopped over the wall, got my truck/trailer, put er on, and 5 minutes later I had a track burger and fries.
This sh*t don't bother me not a bit.

I've got a DS that looks just like that. hehe.
This sh*t don't bother you a bit, that's the right attitude. Bad day at the track is better than a good day at work anyday.
If she ain't running right or breaks just park her and have a track burger. Nice job!

Not really. On the run I bogged I ran a 12.8 at 113. The second run was the 1.8 60' and a 12.3x at 114. Car didn't feel all that great to be honest. Plus, my shifts weren't all that swift b/c of the lane walk I was getting. Not bad but enough to slow ya down a bit. My skinnies weren't ready yet so i mixed the radials and the bias plys.

Then everytime it breaks you say, "....GTOs aren't built for this."

If ur gonna do it that's the setup. The front bias plys would cause an mild front walk, if at all, that can be corrected with the steering. Out back, it felt like a pendulum.....not so good to the newbie. Plus, at 114+ the sway was some scary sh*t.
Alot of the GTO guys complain about this. Must be the combo of the high CG and that there's so much weight up front.
