Default My new project car

Nothing special, 1990 Firebird Formula 5-spd hard top with no motor right now. Going to be dropping a 305 or 350 TPI motor in it, with the T-5 tranny. It only has 102k miles on it, so it should make for a pretty decent car.

Thumbs up

3rd gens can be very cool...my VERY first 'fast' (a relative term LOL) car was an '87 IROC Z28 350 so I can relate.

Should make a nice edition to my firehawk in the background. It'd be nice to get a black car from every generation, but then I would need a bigger garage.

I like the 89 or maybe it was a 91 with those slanted grille cutouts in the the front bumper
They look good even today.

i loved the 91-92 camaro body kits, they just looked sick. but it was proven in a wind tunnel that they slow the car down quite a bit

That is a nice car to turn into a Knight Rider replica car. I was just looking at the stuff for it the other day. You would get a crap load of looks with just the front bumper and light kit along with the wheels. Very cool though

I expected a red light running across the front & the car saying "I'm not sure about this Michael"

Nice car. I always liked the 3rd gen Formula 350's & Iroc's.

Yep, no motor, but has the t-5 and driveshaft and rear. All I have to do is find my motor and put it in. Needs a little repair on the rear bumper, but nothing bad. This car sat behind air products in Trexlertown.

How do I say this politely? No ******* way. Sorry, but these cars are getting harder and harder to find in original condition, with many thanks to Night Rider and it's followers for ruining so many low mileage all original cars. To me those are a novelty car, and it looks alright in the show. There is nothing like an all black firebird formula though, and this has always been the car I wanted to fix up.
