Default Street driving Bogarts?

I'm thinking of buying a set of Bogarts for the GTO..
Can they be street driven?

I would only be driving on them to the track/car shows..

I wouldn't do it, I think they'll end up bent very easily on the pothole filled roads of the northeast.

JS,

One of my buddies down here drives on his A LOT. Knock on wood but he hasn't had any issues yet. I don't think you would have a problem.

You don't have to get a 3.5" runner, you could always get like a 6" wheel. Bogart can custom make you any street wheel.

BTW I wouldn't run a skinny on the streets around my place, other than a short trip or something.

Bogart can even make a 17" or 18" wheel I think if you go that route.

i know the guy Fran is talking about. The car was doing 30 mph and the hit a minor bump in the road and the wheel exploded. I would never use them on the street.

yes I saw a mustang do this. I heard there are 2 different versions the welded and bolted. The welded is for track use only and the bolted is designed for both track and street.

Were both cases on rims only 3.5" - 4"?

my vett has the RR-10's on it they have 15,000 miles on them from my camaro, and now about 15,000 miles from my vett on them. no issues.
my 15" d-10s on the race car have atleast 3-4k street miles on them and the only time they have dented was mounting tires.

I drove the **** out of my D10s. No problems, just watch out for potholes and ****. Also, the VW skinny radial tires are really rough on a skinny wheel.
