I couldn't agree more about family coming first. You can build a car anytime, little ones are only little once. Good choice on the GTO and the color combo sounds badass!! Projects come and projects go, but thats the good things about cars, there's always another one waiting for you around the corner. Good luck with the family and GTO.

Lee's actually broke because it was built wrong the first time.... Which no one knew before. The previous owner bored the block .20 over and TRIED cleaning up the heads.... But didnt do a good job at all. And the finishing touches was the HORRIBLE tune he got from a local tuner around here. It ran terribly lean and he switched his TRAC button backwards.... So when he hit the button the turn it off, it actually turned it on. But he forgot to tell Lee he did it.

Mine actually ran pretty good.... Once I got the slipping belt and ACT sensor problems straight. It was the last week I owned it that when I went up for a retune and we tried to see how much power we could make, the motor just didnt like it and actually blew one of the cylinders.... #8 to be exact. I did happen to break the 520rwhp mark on the pull before.

I told the guy who bought it that the motor was hurt, but he didnt care. He said he had an extra long block waiting to be installed anyways. The motor did end up blowing 2 weeks ago.... He called me and said the new one was being installed as we speak, so....
