Default Mid-Aug for the Weiand intake...

Finally we can see if this thing works or not..I really hope so cause I have a HEAVY GTO and would love more MID RANGE POWER

This intake killed the LS6 intake by 25/25 so imagine how much better it is then a POS LS2 intake that sits on my car....

Plus I love the price 599.00 too
I paid even less being a WD

Yes they did a test over on ls1.com.au but I believe u can find it over on LS1gto.com too....Seems it was worth 25RW over a LS6 threw the midrange (3000 to 6000) and still beat it pretty godo up top too...

We'll see. From what I've seen it looks like it won't be better than the FAST but things can change.

I agree, other then guys trying to do things on a budget i dont see a reason to go with it over the FAST 92. I dont see it being THAT superior to the LS6, but somewhere between the LS6 and the FAST. I think it will help drive down the price of the FAST as well.

Now where getting somewhere,If it drops the price of the Fast then I would agree it might be no brainer to buy the Fast for the simple fact u would get the bottom and topend at a reduced price..

Now this intake was not designed to keep up with a Fast but more or less be on par with it up to 6K so for a mild setup it might be a hot little item..

Next,Matt I think u might wanna look at what it did to a LS6 intake http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/attachm...8&d=1208729208 It wasnt just alittle better,it KICKED ITS *** and we both know the LS2 intake in a POS which means it could be even better on a LS2...

If it doesnt work, theres always the overpriced Fast.....
Oh and by the way the older 90 Version is better than the 92 J version

Well there is one other motivation why someone with a Corvette C6 might choose the Weiand/Starr over a FAST. The FAST requires modifications to either the cowl/firewall area of the car or to the intake itself in order to be installed.
There is talk that this new intake will require NO modifications to install.
