Default BOPC Race at Gainesville Dec 6th!

Hey guys, I would guess that this has already been posted over here, but I couldnt find it so I thought I would post about it again.

The BOPC is a Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Cadillac race and show and it will be held at Gainesville Raceway this Saturday, December 6th. Here is a link to the site that organizes the race:

The weather is going to be pretty nice so come out and have some fun!! On Friday December 5th, there will be a little pre race get together at Rollins Automotive and they will be performing two dyno pulls for $40 each.

Hope to see quite a few Firebirds/GTOs there. Saturday is supposed to be okay for weather and this is the last race until January. Hope to see you on Friday or Saturday!

Friday on the dyno is probably going to run late into the night from the responses on some of the other boards that I have posted on. Should be a fun weekend!!

My father might enter me into the Southern Stock Super stock thing they have going.

Im not clear on it but apparently there is a Close to stock class that my car qualifies for

I went out there today and saw some really cool stuff. I saw a NBM Formula running VERY consistent 12.9Xs...Villain was that you? A lot of cool classics and a good amount of modern GTOs, I don't think I've ever seen so many modern goats in the same place. All in all, it was a great time.

Yep, NBM in the 12.90s was me, well except for that 11.85 pass musta hit a switch somewhere

Was a great time, track was hooking, Stock and Super Stock was wheels-up action, and Kevin wheeled the Rollins shop F2 BBC Camaro to an 8.69 at 162 mph.

Damn! I knew it was you with that 11 sec pass, but you had me thinking there were two NBM Formulas running around yesterday.
I was really impressed with the Rollins gang. Their white bird, I think the driver's name was Jason maybe?, was cutting some god-like reaction times...over and over and over again.

The silver LT1 Formula was Jason Rollins, the shop owner. Mild 383 LT1 went 11.69 and a 10.72 on a 100 hp juice shot. He and I were trading the good reaction times all day. He had the best of a .001 and I mustered a .007.

What I found to be funny was Cal (Hartline) and some of his folks were all in Orlando while BOPC was going on. I know he sold the car, but they had some new silver car that they were running, and Louie's GN.

Oh I didn't get to see your .007 run, I was only there for an hour and a half. If I ever get a helmet maybe you can give me some pointers .
