ordered a new shifter too. the stock one is pretty sloppy. hits the gear I want sometimes. new one should be here near the end of the week. Mike, I'm going to try to rig some mufflers up onder the car so I can drive it until I get the chance to go get my y-pipe made. so that way I can meet you somewhere more convenient for you

I work about 6 days a week, maybe 7. It's getting old real quick! Hope it doesn't rain this week. Haven't been out anywhere in 3 months.

mike my plans were thwarted by work today. had an easy half day of stuff to do, had it all lined up to get off early and take the car to pitts and have the y pipe built, then call you about tuning it tonight, but got called out on an emergency and had to work late. it always happens

Default Who Installs Headers

Who, around Polk will install headers and is reasonable on their labor rates? I just bought a 2002 Z28 and in a couple of months I am looking at getting a set installed (long tube). Right now, I am just shopping around for an installer.

Find out what length you want and determine if you want a 3 or 4 spd. A th400 will be the strongest (and cheapest to build up) than a th350 but the th400 will rob a lot of horsepower. A 700r4 can get pricey but your have overdrive and a lock up convertor. But then wth a th400 u can have a strong badass trans brake! The the350 can have a good brae but it'll slip over 600ftlbs of tq.

I guess it all really comes down to if you want it for track, street or cheap *** ****.
Figure up your length and your budget and get with me. I hav a few trans case's laying around and some parts.

I hear ya!!!!! I do have goooooood news at least for me!!! I worked on my Busa this past weekend and found my oil leak (cracked oil pan) all fixed and ready to hit the track again. It has been so long since I have run it, it is going to take a little while to get back in the swing of things. Give me a month or so and we will be spraying it again!!!!!!!!!!!! I suspect the first two or three times back out on it I will only manage mid 6's but we will be right near the 5.0 mark soon enough.

As for the car I cant find any skinny’s (165-15's) for the front everyone is sold out or just doesn’t carry them. I can get some M/T's but I dont want to spend the money for them if I dont have to. So if any of you know where to get any PLEASE let me know ASAP!!

Thanks for the response! I'll holler at you in a month or two. I just paid cash for the car, taxes, license and insurance. Got a SLP lid and a Sonoco cowl hood ordered. Now I'm broke for the next couple of months!
Thanks again.

That's cheap homie! Throw it on the parts classifieds and if it needs shipped just ask me. I've used r&l carriers for engines before and its not much money. And th buyer pays for sipping on cod.
