When I bought this a few weeks ago, the guy I bought it from told me that they had shaved the heads. He didn't tell me how much. He said that it should have put the compression to about 11:1. I will not know this until I eventually get into tearing the engine down, which I am trying to avoid right now!

I'm hoping to stay in the 10.7:1 comp range

I think (seeing he is from Kissimmee), he is talking about the North East version of "Four Corners".. it is called that because that is where Lake, Orange, Polk and Osceola counties join together................I think!
i'm up in the 3 corners area. I'm in polk, but 10 minutes one way I'm in pasco, 10 minutes another I'm in sumter. and if I go into pasco and turn left, another 10 minutes and I'm in hillsborough lol

6spd under 2k not going to happen ck CL there have been lt f bodys under 2500

also just found this, rigsby auto salvage about 10 minutes from me has 2 for $500 a piece. go to www.car-part.com and put in a search for 2004 silverado 1500, engine, zip code 33810 (sort by distance), 6.0 gas. first 2 that come up

Anyone heading to Bradenton tomorrow!! I am heading out there this weekend. My family is going up north to NJ this weekend and I am home alone and no soccer games so I am doing what I want!!!!!!!!!! I might be sleeping a lil also.LOL.
