Official Polk County thread!

I have a 5500 stall FTI in the altered now. I was very pleased with the quality and I got it for just a little over $1,100. which I thought was a good price from them. For a brief time, when the S-10 was on the street, I ran a 10" Neil Chance unit, 3500 stall. I didn't run the street much with it because I got the "itch" to put in on the track and put fender well headers on it.
I appreciate you guys putting up with all of my questions and giving me hints on building this street Camaro. I am truly trying to keep it a street machine, but I want it to be as quick as possible. Here are a few of my toys, past and present. You will see I leaned more towards the track, rather than the street.

Do you still run it? I'd like to see it. Let me know if you plan on taking it to LMP.

and Mbaker, I don't have the truck anymore. I sold it after the oil pan pickup tube vibrated loose and fell into the pan. starved the #8 rod bearing of oil and hammered it out, then a crank counterweight picked up the loose pickup tube and threw it through the #1 piston, and a piece of that then lodged in the oil pump and sheard the distributor driveshaft. motor only had about 800 miles on it. I felt so sick that after all that work, that my whole motor was trashed. ended up selling it for $1200. as for yours I would LOVE to have one in that state to throw a crazy ls in. want a 68 c10?
I happen to know for a fact that beef's in bartow is out of commision for quite awhile. I have been cleaning up their kitchen fire/flood
