Default SLP Lid is installed

Well, I finally got the SLP lid installed today. The old stuff came off pretty easy, I was surprised. I did find out one thing though,............ when they say "it will help if you add some heat to slip the MAF onto the new lid"..... they weren't kidding! I messed with it for a while, with no luck, went to Walmart and bought me a hair dryer to heat it up, that didn't work worth a damn so I put it in the oven on 175 for a while and then it slid right on! I wished I would have thought of that in the first place. Anyway, it's done.

I was going to swing out to the Lakeland track Saturday to see if any of the local LS1 cars were going to show up. I ended up not going because it had rained pretty hard around south Lakeland, so I figured it rained there too.
