it's AWE-SOME! just make sure you pin it down good lol. you need his stance too mike. and a cage. I'll help you put yours in. I have been getting a crash course education on cage bulding, common myths and actual technicalities. it'll actually be much easier to put one in your car than in my truck

Ya vfn fiberglass dave

And eric I think I'm just gonna buy a jegs weld in 6 pt cage for my car. Its right about 300 bucks for the kit. And that's the next I need. With some other safety equipment, like a kill switch on the bumper and a fire extringerseresrest system. Sorry I'm tired and I can't spell right now.

Then its time to rebuild my bottom end and a new turbo. Hopefully then ill need a parachute!

If I seen a trans am on i4 with a parachue hanging off the back I would try him!

What would a cop say? Is there a law against having a parachute on a street car?

I'm making a tread asking...

Ya man, I got my drag bar on Sunday and my qa1's will be here wed so I'm going to work that night and get them on

Hey while your here what setting should I put those shocks on? And on my bar I went with the heaviest setting.
I'm also thinking of just setting the coilovers 3/4 or 1 inch higher to make it stock hieght again. But I'm kinda worried about extending the shock to much lifting the car back up. What u think?

Did you get rear shocks also and if so what kind? As for the front you dont want to set them ALL the way loos because it will shorten the life of the valving. If they are the 12 way adjustable set them on about 10 clicks out from full hard and let her eat! Did you get front springs also?

I know a lot of people use the stock springs but it will work much better with 250 - 300lb springs. I have the 300lb but my car is absolutely full weight. You should be good in the rear. I cant wait to see that thing get back down the track.

Dude! me too! if i can actually get spooled up some on the line and it hook i swear its gonna do a big wheelie! But im sure my rear 9 inch center section will break. Which if it does oh well, i have a new set of 3.45 gears and it has some junk 3.20's in it now, just as long as the axles/spool dont get hurt.

Also im stupid, when i was talking rising my car up by the coil overs and running out of the travel. I didnt think about the fulcrum principal of it. If i rise the spring adjuster like a 1/4 inch that'll be a inch of ride height.
