it's a rock ridge toothed gear set (all true polk county members should get that one lol)

dude im glad dead hookers got rained out now, i wouldnt of made it threw two passes.

Lakeland had some prep last thursday and i cut a 1.4x 60' and i heard something let got back there. I just didnt think the gear wouldve done that and the case broke.

Mike it looks like you may have had the pinion depth set too deep and the teeth were bottoming out. are you putting different gears in?

dude that was a gear set from a 1970's f150, it was wore out form the beginning. Im happy i got 50 runs out of them, but i got my 60's down and they werent having that. Now im throwing steve's chrome gears in it with a moser nodular housing.

ah gotcha, I thought those were some new ones you put in. what's the ratio on his? he need to get his rolled into the shop soon and get it together so we can all go out and destroy everyone! haha

I had a 3.20,which was great. Now I'm going to a 3.45, which I think it'll help as long as this new turbo will spools good. But I am going from a 68.9mm turbine to a 91mm turbine. My tc78 didnt have spooling problems, since it was undersized it would spool almost instantly.
Maybe now it'll 60' better since it"l have more gear and a laggy turbo.. also i hope I don't have to rev it out too bad on th 1/4 mile.

I think I worry to much.

nope, no need to. I am going to make tubular trailing arms, and the stock frame can accept 18" tires wthout narrowing. I am probably going to only stay with around a 12-13" DR so I can run 10.5/ stock suspension classes. plus, when I'm done, the idea is to be able to say that every part on the truck is a factory part from a chevy truck, less the fuel cell. because so far, the plan is to run all parts that came on a chevy truck, at some point or capacity. oh and btw I'm not painting or cleaning up the outside. I'm leaving it looking just the way it did, just lower. money maker
