New tRack In PalmBay I hope this becomes a reality.. Palmbay is about an hour or more north of Morosso and and 1 hour from OSW.. I would drag race more if the two were closer and this might be it

Palm Bay Motorsports Park
Yes, the rumors are true, we are currently working with our surveyor, and NHRA on designing a state of the art motorsports park consisting of a mud-bog/4 wheeler track, dirt oval track, and an all concrete NHRA certified 1/4 mile dragstrip.
Palm Bay Motorsports Park will be a family-oriented facility and have a park for the kids and feature 2,200 sq ft semi-custom homes with huge garages to be rented or sold to the professional race teams or race fans. The facility will be located in or near the City of Palm Bay, FL, (location not finalized) and be easily accessible to I-95 near the new interchange. We expect to run the 1st pair of cars down the track around mid 2010 !!

Be nice if it happened, but Palm Bay is as full of
NIMBY soccer moms as anyplace else. Lot of land
at the end of Emerson that I guess the Platts
wanted to unload, though. Mud bog ready, like
the rest of Palm Bay.

Makes me wonder if this is being headed by the people that tried to buy Moroso a while back. They wanted to build houses/condos on track property as well. Either way, always good to have another track in Florida.
