R.I.P. Pontiac. You will be missed... (mourning thread)
Post your fond memories of Pontiac here.
Every car my family has owned was a Pontiac. I don't know how to tell my dad about the brands death. He was planning on getting a G8 GXP next year when his lease on his G6 GXP is up. It's going to be hard to accept it for a while, but now we have to worry about the freakin' government owning GM. The future doesn't look to bright.

Yes,it is a very sad day for us GM fans.We would not have Muscle cars if it were not for Pontiac.Hopefully when they get there **** together they will put Pontiac back in there line.My first motor i worked on was a Pontiac 400 in a 69 GTO.

Bummer of a deal. My dad works for a Pontiac dealership so I had been hearing the rumors circulating for some time. Makes me glad I didn't trade the Formula in on my truck back in 2003 even more!

Well I guess I will share. Im gonna miss Pontiac, definitly the powerhouse for GM. I had an '87 Fiero as my first car, small but it was cool in its own way. Then I picked up an all original '79 T/A with 60k miles, ran from the local small town cops and everyone knew my car, only one like it, but they never hauled my dumbass in, thanks guys. Then after I joined the Navy I decided to get the updated version and well I have gotten plenty of speeding tickets in the LS1 T/A but I always smiled when I did. There is no mistaking a Trans Am and I am sad to think that there will not be anymore. Hopefully GM will get there **** together and we can have our beloved brand back. Until then im gonna polish mine and keep it as new as I can.

As for buick, I hear it's a huge seller overseas in China, etc.. Plus there are a lot of people who have been buick only for years. Kind of speaks to the caddy crowd, at a less than caddy price.
