Closest 1/4 mile would be Bradenton about an hour or so north of Ft. Myers, there's a closer track at Immokalee but it's an 1/8th mile.

Yea Bradenton is a good track, good surface and they prep it well.

Bradenton would be the closest 1/4 track to you. Sunshine is also within reasonable distance but is 1/8 mile. You could hit the opposite coast for PBIR in Jupiter FL (probably a 2-1/2 to 3 hour drive though).

Depending on your route of choice and speed, I'd say that's a good guess. I haven't done that drive in a while.

IRR is run by one of the best guy's in Div2 anywhere. Ralph Hester is almost never unreasonable (unlike so many others) and appreaciates the Sportsman racers. Well run operation.

1/8th mile just makes you a better 1/4 mile racer.....just look at all the champions Sunshine puts out. Learn to judge the strip & play the finish line on an 1/8th mile track and you will kick butt in brackets on a 1/4 mile.

bradenton is a little over an hour and a half to get to. there is a local speed shop that deals a lot with ls1's so thats a plus.

Just don't go speeding around in Cape Coral as you WILL get a ticket. If you are looking to buy something down here my wife is a real estate agent. There are some great deals now to buy.

What the hell do you want to move to ft myers for?? Ive lived in 4 different cities in Florida, this is now my least favorite. My wife and I took advantage of the housing market crash here and bought one in Cape Coral. Wish I wasnt stuck with a house now, but whatever. Bradenton is a very nicely run track, havent run at immokolee yet, West Palm is at least 2 hours, and is a shitty drive, not worth the time when you can just go to Bradenton. When are you coming down?

you can go 2 ways take hwy 31 in east ft myers to highway 70 west in arcadia to bradenton and hit 75 tohwy 64....or you can just hit 75 to hwy64 in bradenton Iamfrom Arcadia so i usually went 17 to zolfo springs and hit 64 and went west from there
