Default Just got tuned at MASPORT --Dyno numbers inside--

So here is what I have done....

Comp 232/236 .579/.579 114 LSA, LS6 intake, 243 heads(un-ported/un-milled), BBK 80mm TB, comp 918's, LS2 timing set, LS7 lifters and trays, chromoly 7.350 pushrods, ported oil pump, eBay headers, MSD 8.5mm and NGK tr55's, custom Y with a flowmaster 3'' to 4'' merge into a 4'' cutout out my 3'' magnaflow CB.

After dan got the tuning down to a tee, on his Mustang dyno it made 360.7 hp @6192rpm and 334.6 tq @4778rpm with the cutout closed

With the cutout open max power was 372.9 @ 6113rpm and max torque was 344 @ 4939

I was hoping for closer to 400 but my stock injectors were at 102% duty cycle at 5200 rpm and it was hot as hell @ 90 degrees.... so I hope with bigger injectors and on a cooler day I will be close to my goal.

What do you guys think...??

If your reading this Dan thanks for all you have done, your the man. We hope to see you Friday!!!!

I would be looking for more. But every car is different. I would like to see the dyno graph. Did he shut it down before 6500? There is not going to be a lot more up that high but.

Nice!

Dan is definitely the man! I can't say enough good things about him. He really knows his stuff.

I wouldn't worry about hitting that 400hp number as the dyno at Masport is not one of those happy dynos. Mustang numbers are always lower than dynojet figures. My car on a dynojet made 380 at another shop, after Dan made some adjustments which resulted in a 10hp gain it only made 336 on his. However, after that my car ran its best times ever in horrible air. A dyno is just a tuning tool, what really matters is how the car runs at the track.

FWIW, if you add 12% to you current numbers you can get a rough idea of what your car makes on a dynojet.

Decent numbers as it is a Mustang Dyno. Just curiouse M6 or A4?
I am in process of installing exact same mods, but with a diffrent spec'd cam, and also adding some 30#svo injectors. Hope to have it all done with a week. Good job though on the work you did, defintly hit up a DynoJet and you'll proabbly get to where you wanna be.

It's a M6, ya I think there diecent numbers keeping in mind that it is on a mustang dyno, it was 90+ degrees in there and humid. Plus the cam though it has a high duration, the lift is low compared to alot of cams out there with the same duration like TSP's Torquer v2 232/234, .595"/.598". But thanks we put a lot of work into this car, it's my first cam car and I am happy with it.

373/344 + 12% = 417/385

DynoDan is great to deal with for sure, and has Tuned mine+ !

Real nice street build you got goin' too! Sweet Ride.

Well your numbers are in my neighborhood, so come on out, and let's line up.

http://www.racepbir.com/calendarprin...EtNi82Ni5odG1s

I'll have a new Posi Unit in by the next PBIR/MOROSO Challenge Date.

I hurt my original Torsen type unit in it during last Friday's Semi Final round, and tho I lined up for the Final in case the other racer Redlit, he didn't, and I had to give it away.
Didn't want to chance breaking it, as I have a 60 mile ride home one way.

Btw, Dan had told me to figure a 15-20% differential on the "DJ" unit, due to the several settings that can be utilized for various reasons.

Those are fine numbers for Dan's dyno, and what really matters is how it's performing. Also, the lower lift will keep your springs happier .

For a point of reference, my car put down 340/340 on his dyno and it is the same mods as your car but without the cam and supporting mods. So your numbers definitely seem about right to me, and you should take it to the track for a real test of what its got, especially as the nice weather rolls in! Oh and like others have said, Dan is a great tuner and a great guy.

Well, this is my first cam car and I havnt seen any in person so I don't know what "normal" valvetrain noise is supposed to sound like. My valvetrain noise seems a little loud for my likeing but I am going to go back in and re-tighten the lifters to 22lbs and see if that helps. I will take more video but all i have now is it untuned with open headers

for the mustang dyno the numbers look pretty good.

should be in the 400-410rwhp on a dynojet. which is right where i would have expected it to be.
