Thanks to everyone who takes a look. This is a duplicate post from the "for sale" section.

16,799 is just the asking price. There is well over 1000$ in brand new performance parts on the car that have been on there for less than 1500 miles and I have all of the stock parts to replace them if there not wanted. Thanks for the 2 cents though.
PS-http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/PricingReport.aspx?WebCategoryId=2505&YearId=2002& VehicleClass=UsedCar&ManufacturerId=40&Condition=E xcellent&ModelId=406&PriceType=Retail&VehicleId=34 8215&Mileage=60243&SelectionHistory=348215%7C34261 %7C32244%7C0%7C0%7C4093673%7Ctrue%7C4093681%7Ctrue %7C4093735%7Ctrue
BTW-If you take what KBB says and add my 1000 in parts you can clearly see my logic in the starting price.

ok first off noone goes by "Book" value. Second you have that link posted as RETAIL value like you were buying the car from a dealer which you are not. Third, you have it listed as in "Excellent" condition VERY few cars fall into that catergory (less than 5%), book value for private party in good condition is only 13k. You never get your money back when you mod a car so adding 1k for 1k worth of parts doesn't cut it either. Check the vehicle classifieds on here. There's plenty of cars that are modded WAY more than yours for the same or less than your asking price for a basically stock car.
So no I cant clearly see your logic in your starting price. It sucks your lost your job but dont expect someone to buy your car for way over what it's worth just because of that.
I'll also point you to a thread you yourself started a few months ago asking if you could get 15k for the car and the consensus was NO!
Also you say your car has never been to the track or even raced yet you make a post talking about how you washed your car up and are gonna go out that night and "Eat some Rice" sounds like street racing to me but i guess that doesn't count right?

WoW...gettin' a 'lil hostile in here...
....but I'd take a couple thousand less than that asking price for mine, and it's got almost half the mileage with thousands of dollars in various mods.
Best regards on the sale tho.

I do "occasionally" run mine at the PBIR Challenge Series also.
Here's a couple in the heat. 85* or so

I say ask whatever you want for the car. I would not pay 16 for it but who knows someone might. On the other hand anyone that knows these cars is only going to give you 12-13 for it. You might have gotten 14500 if the car was a 6speed.
Bottom line you can ask whatever you want for the car It just might take you a long time to sell it.

Man there are soooooooo many effin ******** over her on this site! Maybe this is why I tend to stay over on LS1.com, most people over there know how to get the same point across without being a complete dick about it. Yeah OJ I dont think you will ever sell it with that price either but that doesnt bother me much since I dont want you to sell it anyway so keep it high man! And for the record, 99.9% of the very little time this car has got out of the garage it has been driven like he was driving Miss Daisy! The hardest this car has ever been driven was on the dyno. Oh yeah and the one time i talked him into racing me and he lost sorry, had to throw that one in there...

Guess I dont need to elaborate on what the other two guys said! The car has never seen the track, also, just because I took my ride out on a Saturday with the intention of schooling some hondas doesnt mean I succeeded. You CLEARLY have too much time on your hands.
