There are a few shops in the area...they should chime in when they see this.

We can do it but we're in Pompano.

You can drive the car with a stall even if you have a TQ management system.

If you wanted to drive over to my place in Tampa, that would take all of about 30 seconds to reduce the two tables.

you do not want to reduce your traction control system. That's a bad thing to do.

You don't need TM deleted. You may want to back it
off some, but if it's the "dead time" in the shift that
bugs you, you really just want more shift pressure. I've
been all around this on my car and saw nothing from it.
So keep it around and let it save your trans.

I'm in casselberry- if you buy the licence ($100) you are more than welcome to use my HPTuners.

I don't know as much as these other guys I'm sure, but like I said - you're welcome to it. I've helped several guys with the basic stuff. Doing first "full" tune this weekend- cam install '99 vette.

Default Torque Management?

The only reason i want to delete the tm is because Dave from Yank advised me to have that deleted...

Are there guys running 3,600 stall or higher converters with the t/m still in the tune?

I have an FTI 3600 and my TQ management has been deleted by Doc at EFI Alchemy. I had him tune the tranny after the stall to raise the lock-up tables and such and he deleted the TQM while he was doing it.

I love my stall best mod so far.

When I tune a car, I zero out the TQ management both for 6 speed for Auto. It doesnt matter if it's a bolt on car/ heads and cam/ or FI.

For some reason I was under the impression from the first post, you didnt think you could drive the car after the installation of the stall, and still have TQ management active.

Eliminating the the torque management system is normal in the tuning process.

Again you dont want to adjust the traction control system. That's your friend when you need it

Quick Reply: i need to have my torque management deleted before my converter goes in
