Default Big thanks to Phil'sC5vette! And Mr. Norris

Well my fans took a **** on my Vette right after I got it dyno tuned. Gm replaced the computer because it wasn't sending ground to the fan controller apparently. Yes, my local dealer knows my car is tuned and modded and they are cool with it. Well I lost my tune that Mr. Norris made for my car on the dyno the week before! I was pissed because mike had her running top notch! BUT Mike saves his customers tunes And e mailed it to me and Phil uploaded it to my car we made a few logged w0t runs to make sure all was good. As many of you know Mike has moved out of state so central Fl tech members lost a good tuner. I have seen phils work and he is very good as well. I highly recommend him for someone looking for a local tuner.

Thanks both of you!!

Thanks guys. I had fun this morning shooting the bull about cars.

That car is a screamer for a cam only( a big cam, but cam only lol) . The WOT runs were very clean. I take no credit for this one, Mike did all the work. I just had the HP Tuner credits. I think we took all of about 20 minutes working on the car, the other couple hours was just hanging out shoot the bull. Those stock heads flow amazingly well on the Gen 4 cars. I wouldnt go aftermarket. Id just have those ported and polished with a little mill and you'd pick up 20 more HP.

Amber tolerated us well I think because she's a car girl too,........... and your way over chicked

But i wont tell her lol

Just as a side note, 396 was lucky that Mike saved his tune and was able to Email to him.

Ive offered it before, and still do, if someone wants me to save a copy of their tune before they go to the dealer and risk losing what you paid good money for, Id be happy to store it with mine.

And if someone is new with using HPTuners, and doesnt understand something, feel free to reach out for me and Id be happy to help the forum.

.........and get a wideband or your guessing

Hey Andrew,

Glad it all worked out and thanks to Phil for taking care of him.

I do my best to back up everything as it is a pain to lose it all. After about 8 years of this I have a full 16GB and another half full.

Thanks again for the kind words and be safe.

Mike Norris

Mike does very good work. I went over it pretty good just so I could stay I took an extra step in this problem, but there was nothing more I could or would have added to the tune.

I checked the low and top end because many tuners do WOT pulls and that's it. They tend not to address the low end ( area you always drive in) drivibility areas. ( under 3000), But it was clean.

I think Ill be at dead hooker in brandenton next month watching the races
