The mileage isn't that high at all, I think it would depend on if you were dead set on a CETA and couldn't find one in comparable shape/mileage for less. The youngest LS1 fbody is 9 automotive years old now, its going to get harder to find them with less mileage for a good price.

its nice but to much money I paid that much for my SS 6 years ago and with 80k miles. They usually sell mustangs and are overpriced usually but may be worth trying to get a better deal on it.

I bought my Z28 from them in December. With about half the things done to it and 67,xxx miles on it for 8,440 out the door with a new tag and all. The wanted 9,000 for it plus tax, tag, and title. I told them I would not pay more than 8,000 for it plus tag fees which are high. The price was 7,100 plus all the BS. I drove down there with a cashiers check and drove it home.

I liked them pretty easy guys to deal with. But with that said check the car over pretty well and get a car fax if your really thinking about buying it.

Yes there price's are high but they dont sell junk so you might say you get what you pay for.You also have to think everybody with any special model is going to think is worth millions thanks to barret jackson.I paid $8500.00 out the door for mine at a local used car lot in march.

THE GOOD
My car has 76,000 miles fully loaded with full suspension, cam, headers, exhaust, spec clutch&flywheel, with a decent respray.
(1999 T/A 6Speed TTop Slp Hood)
THE BAD
The clutch went out a month later and around the same time the motor started to have piston slap and THEN i found a bottle holder in the spare tire compartment when i went to mount my amp GRRRRRRRRRRRRR...........

THE VERDICT
I now have my dream car that is fixxing to get a built lq4 and now has a ls7 clutch and flywheel. It sucks that i have to replace the motor so soon but it happens sometimes when you buy a used car it can run great for years or break down the day you buy it.Either way good luck and make sure you buy the car you really want so when it comes time to drop some coin you dont mind and still love the car and dont want to sell it.

I really do not think there is a set or even a guess of when the 4L60E will go out. I have had mine rebuilt 2 times in 5,000 miles. First time I lost second gear everything else was fine. I went cheap and did a stock rebuild, bad idea. Second time I lost the 3&4 did a heavy duty rebuild. The builder split the cost with me, because I had been racing it and I did not want another stock rebuild.

The trannys are alittle weak but can be built up. I love my car even the tranny and besides during a rebuild is a great time for a stall.

Way to high priced, I would say 9500-10k that b is bone stock. get the car fox on it and see the history on the car and the service history with that kinda of miles.

I can pull the warranty service if you want

It's a collector car so that might push the $$ up a bit, but close to 100K doesn't kill the value as much as in the past since the years have gone by. For what it's worth, my Formula has nearly 170,000 miles and still has the stock A4 with about 300 track runs on it. Still holds up fine (I did put a deep tranny pan on it to help with longevity and cooling).
