This thread reminds me of when I moved to CA and my insurance went up to $315ish for minimum coverage on a 83 Z28. I was one point away from losing my license the nice letter from the state of FL informed me. I think insurance companies love it when you move to a new state and have a bad record.

Things are different now, one ticket in the last 8 years, $70 a month insurance.
