I go there after leaving bithlo because its open so late and on saturday its where i go when i leave old town because you guessed its open late and yes i know alot of guys dont like 1/8 mile but its drag racing and who doesnt like that?Plus they have some of the best track food around and they even have live music, live fights(on projector),beer&wine bar,and arcade games for the kids.

I have been spreading the word trying to get some local guys to go out too. we've had a group of guy from sebring wanting to run lakeland guys, so I told them to meet us at cfrc. I will be mounting up my slicks and shooting for 7's!

I've been there once.... never ever again will I go there. The announcer spoke spanish the entire night, there was no organization. Plus the track goes from like concrete to asphault halfway down, and there's a huge bump in the middle of the track. I'll stick to OSW.

What is CFRC? Is it that new 1/8 mile that opened up about a year ago just north of Lakeland? And what is this about some guys from Sebring wanting to race some Lakeland cars? I have not been privy to this information, my 12sec camaro might just get a little faster real fast. Are they talking about street cars and if so tell them to bring it!! My junk runs ok I guess.
OOPS back on track I would be willing to head up there on night.

are we talking about the same track? the CFRC i saw was very nice and organized, good layout, hell they even played decent music. and best thing is I didn't see one rotary the whole night I was there. only cars I saw having traction issues were street tire cars which is on every drag strip. saw several cars running in the 5's too. and if you get bored drag racing, you can just turn around and watch the drift guys for awhile. they have open runs on saturday nights too

i worked the bikenight at cfrc for about 8 months and the place is alright. Just its a hour away which is the same as bradenton. Which bradenton is prepped from start to finish and cfrc is just the first 150 or so feet. Cool place though, i would go there alot more if it wasnt so far.
As for tech there wasnt any on bikenight never. I did low 6's on a bike with only a helmet on and no one gave a darn.

CFRC is much better now, then when it first opened. I go faster at CFRC, then I do at OSW, on drag radials. I can actually hook at CFRC. I stayed away from it, because all the Spanish stuff. I recently went back with some buddies, and it they really turned it around. It is actually a pretty decent track now.
