Huge shout out to DDNspider. I bought me a beater 98 formy a4 a few weeks back and finally go it out to OSW on friday. Car is BONE stock with a FTRA and a granatelli maf. Car was a turd 14.20 @99 on the first pass, I was depressed. LOL Nick brought out the efi live and went to stroking keys.
Next pass 13.81@103. ok we're getting there. Stroke a few more key's 13.70@ 104. with a crap tastic 2.1 60'
Needless to say if i got her to leave how i'd like i don't doubt she'd of gone a .50. Time to throw some parts at her and see where she goes.
But he pulled a half a second out of the car with mild tuning.
The goal of this car is simple, I want to run drag week 2014, make a 10 second pass at every track and have less than 5k into the entire car INCLUDING the car. I'm 3500 into it, and the guy gave me BBK long tubes, off road Y, magnaflow cat back. I run a tranny shop so tranny and converter are next with left over crap i have laying around, still have an old EFI wet kit. going to start sourcing parts for an 8.8 swap this week. Fingers crossed.

That was pretty impressive!!! I have to second that shoutout! I have a SSEI that we did intake, exhaust and a smaller pulley on and ddnspider tuned every step of the way and we've gone from 15.3 @ 91 mph too a 14.4 @ 97! Not too shabby for a front wheel drive 4000 lb car lol

He's still there, I sold it a few years ago to do the whole start a family, buy a house thing. Don't regret it for that reason, it had to happen. But things are good now, got JCRChassis works building me a full 25.3 WS6 for a race car and this thing as a toy.
Yeah I saw that link but wasn't sure if it was the old T/A or new one.
